clip zip can't read new songs in its internal memory
(1/1)

Hi,
I've rockboxed a sansa clip zip 2 days ago and everything went fine on both rockbox and sansa firmware, just enjoyed music stored on my sandisk 16gb tf card. Today i decided to add some more songs and link clipz's with my computer and copy 3 songs (mp3 file format) to its 4gb Internal Memory in the folder ##MUSIC#/music.
I can read and play these 3 songs when booting clipz on rocbox firmware, but i just can't find these 3 songs anywhere on sansa firmware. Could someone kindly tell me what is the problem? Should I reinstall rockbox? Thanks.

I think the Sandisk firmware ignores that folder. Also if you are in mtp mode the Sandisk firmware ignores files added by Rockbox.

thank you for your suggestions. I have replaced sansa's original firmware v01.01.21p? with v01.01.20a? and then reinstalled rockbox. My clip zip now can read new files in its internal memory. But I must re-insert the tf card every time when adding new songs to force clip zip into refreshing media database, otherwise it would not show those new songs.
