Not able to adjust pitch even though Timestretch is enabled sansa e200 v1

(1/1)

btothem:
I love rockbox and have it on several devices.  Unfortunately, on my e250 I cannot get the pitch control to work.  I can speed up the audio to 200% but it does not stabilize the pitch and my audiobooks sound like the chipmunks are reading them.  This works perfectly on other devices but I am unable to get it to work on my sansa.  I have done several searches and this issue has not been brought up or was different than the issue I am having.  Someone with more knowledge than I please help!!

btothem:
Anyone have any insight about this problem, others must be having similar problems.  Should I maybe install a legacy version I downloaded a while ago for another device?  Seems like this was recently changed because I have read complaints on other forums that the up button (pause/play) was changed and now exits the pitch screen instead of raising the pitch and the down button does nothing.  Any response would be appreciated.

saratoga:
Hit the record button until you're in timestretch mode, then you can use the wheel and arrow keys to adjust the pitch or timestretch.

This is the manual, although perhaps it could be made more clear:

Thank you so much!  I knew there had to be a simple solution.  It didn't say anything about the record button in the text but it was in the chart as you said.  Thank you again and hopefully this will be useful information to everyone else!
