Clip+ USB issues
« on: September 07, 2014, 07:49:08 AM »
I just bought a clip+ and installed rockbox 3.13.

On a win7 laptop, everything works fine. Plugged it in to a USB port, it booted as a USB drive, I can copy files to both the clip+ and an sdhc card ...  all seems good. I take the clip+ to my win7 desktop and the USB drivers won't load. "Device driver software was not successfully installed" to be exact.

So clearly something is amiss with the desktop. However, if I boot in Sansa's OF and connect to the desktop, I can get to MSC mode and see the clip+ as a drive. One thought I had was that while the desktop saw the sansa OF, the laptop never did. But I can't figure out how to uninstall the Sansa drivers.

Any help is appreciated.
