Lost menu and submenus
(1/1)
homefinder:
My player was acting up with regard to bookmarks, so I deleted Rockbox from my Sansa Clip Zip, and then reinstalled it. It is working fine now. However, I lost the following menus/submenus and need help finding out how to get them back.
##Music##
##Port##
Album
Audible
Audiobooks
Music
Podcasts
Record
Sport
Thanks for the help. :)

Those are folders on the disk. Did you reformat ? If so, you probably deleted them.
[Saint]:
None of those directories have anything to do with Rockbox at all.
It pays to note that removing Rockbox itself wouldn't have removed these directories either*. Anyway, moving on.
These are created by the original firmware, and should be recreated at runtime. Boot the original firmware, and they should be back again. Their contents, however, unless backed you backed up, are toast.

(*depending on how you chose to do this.)

Thank you for your prompt reply! Knowing now that they are not part of Rockbox makes me question the need for them. I probably will not restore the original firmware just to get them back, as they are not part of Rockbox.
Thanks again for your help.

It could indeed be one of the beauties of the English language, but I noticed you used the word "restore".
Rockbox has a dual-boot function, when you installed Rockbox on this device, you didn't actually remove the original firmware...its still there. The original firmware will recreate the filesystem structure it wants at boot time, if or when you choose to do so.
