Any Clip sound improvements on the horizon?

I know I'm going to get reamed for asking this question but here goes.

Are there any sound quality improvements worth mentioning coming up for the Clip or is it as good as it gets now? If it's development in that area is finished I can stop updating the OS.

You've been spectacularly vague. You don't state what you perceive to be a deficit.

I'm not really sure what you mean.  In terms of sound quality, what would development even mean?  Aside from the fix to enable higher maximum volume about 3 or so years back, the sound drivers haven't really changed since we got them working.  Generally they're debugged pretty quickly and then that is it.  Not much to "develop".
