How to convert antialiased fonts?
« on: July 30, 2014, 10:11:26 AM »
I've been able to convert a ttf to the rockbox font format and it's working. However, the result is not antialiased. I've tried with Sansafont. I needed Sansafont 16 bold, because I've only found bold 12 points and bold 20 points. Any idea where to find this font or how to convert it with antialiasing?

Are you certain that your device's display isn't simply incapable of displaying any appreciable difference?

If my memory serves me, you have a Clip Zip, and the display on this player is frankly bullsh...errr, "not very good".

It is also worth noting, I suppose, that I have provided an anti-aliased font pack via the 'extras' selection to your immediate left for a number of years now.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

The sansafonts from Clyp-E, Ekaran or BBW look perfect, but the font I converted from a ttf looks blocky. Yes, I have a Sansa Clip Zip.
