Certain MP3 files not updating in database properly.

I have installed Rockbox onto my iPod Video Gen 5 and am having an issue with certain MP3 files.  The files play on my computer and are in the file system on my iPod, however, they will not show up in the database and will not play when selected from the file system.  Any ideas?

I've seen this one. I tried editing the tags on the bad files. That wasn't it. What was it was not letting the database update have enough time to finish the job before the player went to sleep or got shut off.

If you can't play the file theres a good chance the database won't be able to read it either.  I would check that the copy on the player isn't corrupted, and if its not, upload it somewhere so someone can look at it.

One strange thing is that before having redone my entire database, I was able to play all files except one from a certain album, but since redoing, now the entire album fails to play/showup.
