iPod 4th gen - Mountpoint is not writeable

Is it actually booted or in disk mode?  If you just plug a crashed player into USB you will get all kinds of errors.

I gave the iPod to my brother and he managed to fix everything and install Rockbox which works properly now, except for one thing.

After I transfer music onto my iPod, I don't see it in Rockbox, as if it just disappears. When I mount it again, the music is not there.
