problems with 2048 plugin in clip zip
« on: October 16, 2014, 02:17:48 PM »
sorry for bad English. i have clip zip and i rockboxed it recently. i have simulator of it on my pc, and in it i have used the 2048 game, and i really liked it. i have rockboxed my clip zip manually, because when i did it the automatic way it didn't worked. i installed 3.1.3 rockbox and 01.01.21 FW with bootloader 4.0. now i have copied the 2048.rock file from the simulator to the clip zip to the .rockbox/rocks/games folder and i tried to open it from the clip zip in the plugins/games and it says that:

can't open
/.rockbox/rocks/games

the end of the second line is out of the screen...
some1 help pls!

You cannot copy plugins between builds.

.rock files are build- and platform- specific.
You cannot take a .rock from a stable build and run it on a development build.
You also cannot take a .rock from an x86 platform (PC) and run it on an ARM platform (clip zip).
