Add Dynamic Range from ID3 extended tag
« on: July 08, 2014, 05:43:28 PM »
I track the Dynamic Range of every song I own, and the value is then copied to the extended tag of my mp3's. Using foobar, or an MP3 editor I can display that value in a column, and it is embedded in the metadata. I'd like to extract and display this value, but I can't find how to do that. The manual outlines tags available, but what would it take for me to get that value to appear?

Solved:

I used foobar with the Masstagger plug-in to copy the dynamic range value to a field I named content group, which is a tag recognized by many ID3 programs. I then used the Group field in rockbox to display the value.
