database won't build

Hey
i dont know if that has been discussed before ( cant find something about it).
i'm using a sansa clip with the newest rockbox version. a few days ago, the database started to build just a few songs, for example only about 1000 of my 5300 songs. After an hour or so, things would be normal again ( without me doing anything). Now, the database doesnt even build at all. it stuck at song 0 , no matter how long i wait. Im still able to reach my file per " file" option, but the database isn't working. I did an update,  re-setup, even formated my player. nothing helped.
Any idea how to fix this?

Usually this means that either the file system is corrupted, or that there are corrupted files that are crashing the parser.  I would start by checking the file system for errors on your PC.
