AS5325 vs PP5024. Sansa c200 v1 vs v2
« on: May 30, 2014, 12:47:05 PM »
Okay, kind of an odd question.

I may be insane, but I noticed a huge difference between my Sansa e200 and my sansa fuze in terms of speed between tracks and speed of navigation. I had the old version of the e200 and the new version of the Fuze. I had thought that the difference was likely due to the processor.

I recently got the sansa c240 that was supposed to be a version 2, but instead I got a version 1. I was wondering if there was a big difference between the v1 processor, PP5024, and the v2 processor, AS5325 (also the Fuze processor).

There is more detailed info on the wiki, but basically PP is 2x80MHz ARM7TDMI while AS3525v1 is 250 MHz ARM9TDMI.
