Exporting music and playlist onto Fuze+ using Rock Box.

I think I am going crazy.

I can't add any more files to my memory card.  I've only used about 10GB, maybe 1100 files.

This is what I'm doing lately.

* I'm removing the memory card from my Fuze+, putting it in a USB reader, and inserting the USB reader in my PC.

* I'm copying files from my PC to the Music or Videos folder.

* After they've copied, I try playing a few to make sure they're ok.

* I use Windows to eject the memory card, then put it back in the Fuze+.

* After booting up, I see the new files.  But after rebooting the player 1 or 2 times, when I go to the new folders, they are now blank.

This has happened 3-4 times.  Whatever files were on there from a few hours ago, are still on there.  But since then, no new files persist.

Even if I connect the Fuze+ with the memory card inside, and transfer files, they still don't seem to persist when I boot up the player afterward.

I'm going to try reformatting the memory card, not sure what else to try.

I can't speak for this particular target, as I don't own one, but I don't _think_ you should have to wait for the screen to dim at least once before the context menu is accessible in the while playing screen.

However I'm unaware if there are perhaps some peculiarities of the hardware that might cause this or not.

Ok, I figured out how to do it without waiting for the backlight to dim.

When a playlist is playing, to get to the playlist context menu, I hold down on select for a few seconds, rather than tap it.

BTW, thanks for your help this weekend, especially for some of these specific questions.
