Fuze v1 error accessing playlist control
« on: May 08, 2014, 02:55:18 AM »
I have a SanDisk Sansa Fuze v1 with RockBox last release.
For some 'time my 16gb SD gives me a problem:
"error accessing playlist control"
I did a quick check disk and it worked.
Instead, full disk check does not end, because that is how the device is not able to hold access to the SD for a long time.
Is there anything I can do?
Although I think it is a problem with the drive, I check if the memory card is OK?

Remember that there is nothing stopping you from using the original firmware to check the file system integrity if you find Rockbox's USB to be unstable.

The error that you describe is almost always an indication of a corrupt file system and/or Rockbox binary.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

I start the original firmware but not can to check the SD because it is 16GB and not 2GB supported from V1. Also for this i use RockBox.

As far as I am aware there is indeed an arbitrary limit on the amount of storage the original firmware can address, but to my knowledge it is *much* larger than 2GB (16 or 32GB, if my memory serves me correctly).

I am not aware of any difference between the V1 and the V2 in this regard, and SanDisk seems to state that 32GB cards are supported.

Are you absolutely sure its a Fuze and not an e200 or c200?
