A C Compiler running on Rockbox

A port of the GNU toolchain to Rockbox (so you can run GCC on your device) would be a wonderful feature. This would require porting GMP, MPFR, MPC, and CLooG to Rockbox. An older, non-C++ version would most likely work. I could use some technical insight on doing this, and whether or not it is feasible :-\. If it could work, a complete POSIX environment could be made to run on Rockbox, making more ports possible. This may sound like iPodLinux, but it would be AWESOME!!! So, is doing this feasible?

Within rockbox, no.  But you could port linux to one of these devices.  People have done so before.
