Could be possible a 1 terabyte iRiver iHP-120 player with an mSATA drive? YES
(1/1)
bpfiguer:
The Crucial M500 480GB mSATA drive (cat. no. CT480M500SSD3) works using an mSATA to ZIF and ZIF- Toshiba CF 50pin adapters.
I was wondering if the Samsung 840 EVO MZ-MTE1T0BW 1TB mSATA drive it will work.
Note on 8/9/2014:
Works without any issues.
Serenity:
It should work. There's no HDD size limit that I'm aware of, though performance might suffer a little while the player figures out what to do with all that space. :D
bpfiguer:
The Crucial M500 480GB mSATA drive (cat. no. CT480M500SSD3) stop working inside the iHP-120. The drive is not recognized anymore by the player and Windows (inside an mSATA-USB enclosure).
The other two mSATA drives [Crucial M500 240GB mSATA drive (cat. no. CT240M500SSD3) and MyDigitalSSD 240GB mSATA drive (cat. no. MDMS-BP4-240)] are sill working after two weeks of usage.
I was wondering if the Samsung 840 EVO MZ-MTE1T0BW 1TB mSATA drive will work considering that the average power consumption is 0.103W.
