Hi.
I would like to suggest a feature. The idea is to have the possibility to exclude (skip) some tracks from the playlist in shuffle mode, based on some marking they are assigned (maybe just set rating=0). I would like to see in the context menu of a track the option "Blacklist current track".
This feature is related with my preferred way of listening to my rockboxed players (iRiver H10 6GB, iRiver H10 20GB, iPod 6 Classic 80GB).
When I had only the 6GB player, I used to load few albums until the memory is full. I almost always used to listen all of the albums, in shuffle mode. When there's an album which I don't quite like I removed it from the player. And gradually erased the tracks I don't like from the remaining albums. This way I freed some place for more albums, with the process constantly repeating and the music in my 6GB player constantly refreshing and optimising.
The pro of that method - you keep on your player only music (albums, songs) you really like.
The con - you don't have the albums in their completeness on your player.
When I switched to the players with more storage space, I would prefer to use them more like a storage of my music collection, rather than keeping just the songs and albums I really like as I used to do before. (you don't have much options on a 6GB player)
However, that functionality - to have the shuffle mode playing only the songs I liked and skipping the songs I didn't (because they were deleted) is very nice - like having your own, personal radio station playing only your favorite tracks.
I suppose such feature should be easy to implement.
Thank you for your attention.
