Can I hide a certain directory from Rockbox? (Clip Zip)
(1/1)
foggyx:
Hi, is there a way I could make a directory invisible to Rockbox, but still access it via stock firmware? The reason behind this is that I basically need two DAPs- one for audiobooks and one for music and I don't want to switch playlists and change audio settings each time i use it. Hope this makes sense.

There is no need to do this. If you don't want to browse to a folder in rockbox, simply do not browse to it.
bluebrother:
If you're talking about the database: put a file named database.ignore into the folder(s) to ignore. See the manual: http://download.rockbox.org/daily/manual/rockbox-sansaclipzip/rockbox-buildch4.html#x7-450004.2.2
cereal_killer:
Or use the "Select directories to scan" setting to add or exclude directories from being added to the database.
There is a discussion about this setting here:
