audiobook folder
« on: March 28, 2014, 09:52:08 PM »
I tried the bookmarking option but it doesn't want to work for me. I end up having to open up the file and fast forward to the time that the bookmark says. Is there an option or a plugin of some sort that will just treat all the audio as audiobooks and automatically remember where I left off even if I open another track.

No, there is no plugin for this as this is exactly what Bookmarking is there to achieve, and I assure you that bookmarking does indeed function, as I use it occasionally myself.
It very much sounds to me that you want bookmark on stop disabled, and update on stop enabled, so that only tracks where you have first created a bookmark will be updated automatically (as opposed to just bookmarking everything, which I would guess would quickly get annoying).

It may help to have a read of our fine manual's bookmarking section which can explain the various options and combinations thereof better than I can (I chose an arbitrary target as you didn't specify one).

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

I think automatic resume is what I wanted. At least it seems to be doing what I wanted. Thanks!
