Installation / Removal > Rockbox Utility
Uninstalled from Sansa Fuze+ can't boot to stock firmware without VOL- & power
Mayhem:
I bet if I can find an old version of the OEM firmware, copy the .sb file to the device then try Sansa's firmware updater to correct the issue.
Now I just need to find an old version.. :(
EDIT: I found 1.27.02 but that didn't work either. VERSION.SDK shows the firmware version as 2.38.06A and I can't edit that file (I opened it in Notepad++) and without that in the root of the device the firmware updater doesn't even see that it's plugged in.
Back to square one :(

You can have huge fonts with Rockbox, have you had a look at the theme page for Fuze+?
There is no way that the OF firmware can match Rockbox for readability.

Where's the theme page? Sorry - I'm new here.
saratoga:
Top left side of your screen is a themes link.
The sansa firmware updater just copies over firmware files for users who are too inexperienced to download and copy files on their own. Its useless here. I think you just need to download the current firmware, copy it to your player and reboot into the OF.

Yeah, no matter what I try I can't get the Rockbox bootloader off.
I did find the BadEyes theme and am running with that. It definitely helps.
I'd still like to be able to get it back to how it was from the OEM but BadEyes helps..

Rockbox Utility can install themes ... Apart from that, boot the player into the Sandisk firmware, connect it to the PC and copy the firmware file to it. As far as I know (I don't own that player so can't check that myself) restoring the Sandisk firmware only works when copied to the player using the Sandisk firmware.
