Customizing the Zyp Theme for Clip Zip (Help!)

I have decided to change themes so I can take advantage of the artwork on my Clip Zip. I am going with Zyp, but there are some issues I have run into. I would like to change the following:

On the WPS, I'd like the progress bar (I believe that's what it is called) to either be removed or move the title strip above the artwork, move the artwork down, and have the progress bar appear over the artwork itself. There are some song titles that aren't fully visible because of that bar at the bottom. If removing it is the easier option, please let me know.

When paused, it currently displays title, artist, album, and place in playlist. I would like the release date to be shown instead of the playlist position. This isn't that hard, right? Also when paused, the song titles aren't fully visible (gs or ys are cut off). How can I fix this? Can I extend the length of the song title section of the screen? Also, the track number is cut off. Can I extend this length, too? If I have to remove the audio information at the bottom of the screen to make room, that is fine. I know what type of files I listen to.

Lastly, Japanese is cut off on all of these screens. I only know of one font that reads it, and change size either makes the Japanese too big or the Roman letters too small to read. This is why I would like to extend the length of title part of the screen.

If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated! I user once told me to try to figure it out on my own, but all of the code is confusing! A friend of mine tried to help and wasn't even familiar with it. Anyway, thanks for any feedback!
