iriver 120 - flash card modified - booting into iriver FW? -to update bootloader

hi,

i have a h120, that i modified with a 16gb flash card - i did that years ago. it all worked fine so far!

today i had problems booting it - found out quite quickly it was the flash card that had been loose from the socket.

well - i figured i might as well look into rockbox again, and download a new build.
i also figuerd, since my bootloader was from 2006, i should update that as well.

all went fine with rockbox utility.

it tells me i need to update the FW in the original iriver software in order to have the new bootloader running.

now, i have no clue how to enter that sofware anymore? holding the rec and start button at the same time doesn't to it...

do i not have that on my player anymore, since i modified with CF?? i just don't remember...

i had a few "rough" boots after updating the sofware, but now it seems to be ok with the old bootloader...

any clues?
