Sony E340 bricked?

Hello, I have done something that in retrospect, is rather stupid.

I've been looking at Rockbox for a while, but never had a device that would run it. Recently, I found that someone had made a build for the E360s and other various Sony devices. Looking around the documentation, I saw that the E360 used the same hardware. and even the same OF as my 340! So, I downloaded the firmware image linked to here and installed it as the instructions say. My device gives the indication that it is updating, and then that's where things go down hill...

Once the install was complete, the bootloader starts running, but then starts repeated throwing "disk_init failed!" errors. I can not get back into the OF by the methods listed, and I can't get into recovery mode either. Everything leads to this failing bootloader...

So, I've obviously screwed up. Is there anyway to fix this? It's not critical to have this thing working again (I barely use it), but it would be nice to at least get it back to stock, or even RB.

Hi,
I'm not sure where you saw that the E340 is the same as the E360. Unfortunately I'm not sure there is a firmware upgrade for the NWZ-E340 so unless you made a copy of the firmware, you are screwed until someone can provide a copy of the original firmware.
