In another post I was told about this
The old style is quite hard to read at a glance, the newer "%?xx<%xd(identifier, 1)|%xd(identifier, 2)|...>" style is a bit long winded, but it allows the author to make use of descriptive identifiers that actually mean something, removes the need to think about A == 1, B == 2, C == 3, etc., and removes the arbitrary limit on identifier and bitmap counts.
I don't quite understand this, where could I find it in the manual. I looked and I can't find anything on the new system.
I want to use it for a peak meter nimages so I don't have to be limited to 26 nimages (I need 29).
Anyway, if there is nothing in the manual, might someone be able to explain it or link me to a forum post that does? That would be great.
Lastly why does the peak meter freeze when I exit the wps? Is there any way to keep the P.M. live even in file browser?
(I looked this up too, found nothing.)
