Plugging in ipod

(1/2) > >>

FKassad:
Whenever I plug it in, it restarts and uses apple software. It constantly has the "do not disconnect" screen.  I can move music onto the ipod, but the screen never goes away. Unplugging it sometimes restarts into rockbox, and other times gives me the battery with the exclamation point sign.

Ive tried holding down menu while plugging the usb in while in rockbox, but while rockbox seems to recognize the usb connection, windows does not, so I cant move music onto the ipod.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Llorean:
Holding Menu just lets Rockbox charge. It doesn't actually connect to USB yet, as we don't have drivers for the hardware.

The only way to transfer songs is the other way.

i have to restart the ipod (center+menu) to access rockbox

Alright, but shouldnt the "Do Not Disconnect" screen go away eventually while its plugged in? I hate having to restart it using menu+select in that state.  Feel like im breaking it.

Beto:
well on my nano when its connected

it turns gray, like the letters and pictures,

then i always have to reset my nano because that battery thing comes up even thought the nano is fully charged
