Shortcut help?
« on: February 22, 2014, 10:09:45 AM »
Hi, is there anyway to create a shortcut that OPENS the lrcplayer?

I thought if I use 'file' it would open the .rock file, instead of simply pointing me to it, which 'browse' does, right? File seemed to do the same thing as browse in this case.
I thought that because I read here  - http://download.rockbox.org/daily/manual/rockbox-ipod3g/rockbox-buildch5.html#x8-980005.12
"file -    data is the name of the file to “run”
(Testing the shortcuts was annoying, I didn't realize I had to restart my ipod to get the shortcut file reloaded? When I made changes to the shortcut file on my computer, they did not show up until I restart the device)

Is there a way to put an actual shortcut to it on the main menu? I would have to change the source and compile it right, would this be easy enough to do? It doesn't seem too complex.

And, I would have to do some custom stuff too if I want 'album artist' to appear above 'artist', in the 'Database' menu, right? I'm sure that would be very easy to change.

file should do what you want. Can you post your shortcuts file?

and yes, you need to edit the tagnavi_config file to change the order

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
