Can't load themes in Clip Zip

I tried everything. I tried automatic and manual instalation. I tried many versions of rockbox utility and many firmware versions of the clip zip and i can't load the theme I want. Btw, the theme is the famous clock_lock2. I can't install themes similar to this one too. If i can't do that, the clip zip is pretty much useless to me.
The rockbox install just fine, but when i select the theme i want, it won't load and will stay in the default rockbox theme.

I see on the description for that theme it says you must install the font pack in order to use it.  Did you do that?

Alternatively, if a theme fails to load, it does NOT "stay in the default rockbox theme".  You instead get the blank failsafe theme.  Is that what you actually see (it should look quite different than the default theme IIRC)?  If not, how are you trying to load the theme?

I have the fontpack and the font needed. I tried to load the theme by going to setting>theme settings>browse theme files>clock_lock_2.zip. I already tried to install manually and with rockbox utility.

You have to unzip the theme first and then copy it to the player.

It's not zip, it's just the name of the file. Also, i tried to install with rockbox utility, so there's no way they would put the files in zip.

Ah, you mean "clock_lock2_zip".  I just tried it in the sim, and it works fine, so probably theres something else we're missing.  What version of rockbox are you trying to use?  And what happens when you select that theme?

rockbox 3.13. rockbox utility 1.4.0. But when i turn on the Zip, it just says "Boot 4.0", then "Ver 3.13". Ah, when i open the theme, it says "settings loaded" but nothing changes.

I tested the current build and it worked in the sim, so I would update and see if that fixes it.

I already did that many times. I guess there's no hope for my case. Gonna give the Zip to my brother.

Ah, i want to ask one thing. Which clip zip firmware are you using?(not rockbox ver)

I don't own a clip zip.  I used the simulator to see if the theme works.  For what its worth, the sandisk firmware has no effect on anything in rockbox.

I wouldn't say there is no hope.  I would say there is something obvious we're all missing, and that once we figure it out, it will be easy.

Try another theme - do other themes load?

Try loading just the WPS or just a font - does that work?

1- I will edit here later to see if other themes works. But iirc, i couldn't load other themes too.
2- I did that, i can open the wps and font alone. If i plan to install the theme "manually", by configuring everything step by step, i need to know how to edit every color and the exact colors the clock_lock2_zip use.

Did you try the current build?  Can you load other themes?   You have to answer questions before people can help you.
