i have a problem!

i didnt know where to put this but heres my problem

ok i installed ipodlinux on my nano 1gb
then i installed rockbox on my nano 1gb (same one)

now the ipod goes directly into rockbox,
how can i make it go to ipodlinux?

...How did you install ipodlinux on it? Do you have a bootloader? Or did you use arab_freak's tutorial on the ipodlinux forums?

It would also help to know which bootloader you are using. It sounds like you are
booting into the Rockbox bootloader though. If you wish to boot ipodlinux, then you
just have to hold play as it is booting, just like you would if you were booting into
the original firmware (except it's Play for linux and Menu for the Apple Firmware).

Simply install the ipl bootloader from www.ipodlinux.org/ any aditional help for that could be easily found by searching the ipl forums

ok ive reset my ipod and i have rockbox on it

if i install linux on it and i choose the 3rd option which lets me choose which program to run

will it freeze on me? erase my songs and stuff?

cuz ive tried the 3rd option and it freezes my ipod up, everytime

Well i do'nt know much about the nano it's sell but it shouldn't be freezing...

Which version of the installer are your using?

Note: copy the ipod_control folder from your ipod to your documents then if ipl installer deletes your songs off of your ipod just drag the ipod_control folder from your documents back into the ipods root.
