Maximum Volume Limit missing from menu
(1/1)

e-While waiting for my sansa clip+ to arrive in the mail, I was learning how to use rockbox in the Linux simulator (compiled from git://git.rockbox.org/rockbox), and immediately noticed a menu entry:
settings -> sound settings -> maximum volume limit
Great! this could save my fading hearing.
When the sansa clip+ arrived, I immediately flashed it with rockbox 3.13. However, the "maximum volume limit" setting is missing from the sound settings menu? Everything else is there, just no maximum volume limit.
I can't tell if the rockbox simulator found in git is a newer version (it boots way too fast to see the version number), and the version is listed as "761975e-140205" in the rockbox info setting.
What am I missing?
thanks,
-edfardos

3.13 is a year old, but the volume limiter wasn't added until a month or so ago. Try the development build.
