My clip+ is bad and I need to uninstall RB. I am new to this stuff and used the auto install utility so some of the terms may not be understood. Thanks for any help

I just ran the Rockbox utility to uninstall and the player said that firmware file not found plug in usb. Now it says bootloader USB mode. What did I do wrong? I did a complete uninstall. Thanks :o

Ok seems like I needed to shut it off by holding the powere button down until finally it shut off. For almost 30 seconds. I got it to boot to OF but if I shut it off it would load the bootloader errors again when starting. I ended up putting the OF bin on the drive thru windows and then starting into OF and it upgraded and worked, with all my music still on it! Shut it off and now started into OF without holding the left key while turning on. Fixed? I hope so. The boot loader deal from what I get is put into the original firmware to boot Rockbox? Is that right? Thanks
