rockbox installation

ive been through the website guide a few times now and it still hasnt worked!!!

i dont seem to get my bootpartition.bin folder on my ipod and i cant execute most things

i need help from sum1 who has done this before on a ipod video 30g
i need ther xfire or msn preferably
this is now starting to irratate me!!! :-[

There should be no bootpartition.bin folder on your iPod... in fact the instructions don't call it a folder ever.

You need to be very very exact with the instructions. They do tell you exactly what to type...

i found my probelm
it was my dos commander wasnt completly sinc wiv my ipod and computer

Please, try to avoid using things like "u" in place of "you" and "wiv" in place of "with" as this makes the forums difficult for some non-english speakers, as well as potentially for blind users as well.

what do you mean by dos wasn't in sync with your ipod and computer? did you get rockbox installed now? Oh yeah, I'm not "addicted" to the installer, just reminding you it was an option  ;).
