I am new to the rockbox forum and asked a question within the hardware forum about possible firmwares that worked with the Sony E series (474 to be specific). I read the site, found lots speaking about other versions but I also read a lot saying that with the sony's that its a model by model basis of what works and what doesnt. I did lots of looking through the forums as well as google to see any mention of Rockbox and the 474, but couldn't find anything. The only post I found was one showing rockbox working on a few Sony models.
I made it clear I did my due diligence and wasn't just being lazy and asking on the forums, but that I couldn't find an answer anywhere, and if I was in the wrong subforum or there was an easy answer somewhere I didn't locate that I was sorry. It said the post was waiting approval and now it's just gone and deleted.
I just feel confused because I didn't get a message as to why it was, and if the content was not appropriate it was evident in my post I said I was new and trying to follow the rules.. so I would expect someone to send me a message explaining what I did wrong and how to fix it to make an appropriate post. Or if it was an obvious answer they could share it with me via a private message.
Not sure what I did wrong, I feel like I tried my best but I just would like to at least know where I went wrong because I put a decent amount of time into writing that.
