Sansa clip+ 8 gb problem black screen permanently
ahuli:
After installing Rockbox some time everything was normal, but there were problems with external memory (I think is not very good card 16GB Class 10 - windows gave an error message file system and suggest to check for errors , after checking more than one file on the card was not read), but not the problem. Once, on an internal memory left 0 MB of free space, though I did not write new files, did not use the recorder, etc. before it was about 200 MB free, began hovering Rockbox - I deleted several songs and tried to restart the player long pressing the power button, it is completely disconnected.
Now I can not turn it on, I tried to hold the button more than 30-60 seconds, hold the left button and switch, nothing happens. when connected to a computer, there are two types of events:
1 windows does not recognize the player - after pressing the turn connected usb, the following occurs:
2 shows the usb drive 8 GB - (if I press and hold the turn - 20-30 seconds everything goes back to step 1) - I formatted the drive and recorded the original firmware (record is very slow 15 MB written about a minute) - after a safe shutdown disk and disconnecting the cable, nothing happens - the screen stays black - no change.
I tried to reinstall Rockbox with Rockbox Utility - installation proceeds normally (mount point have to manually select) but the player does not work and the screen remains black.
I tried to update the firmware of the original utility - does not recognize the player.
I also tried to wait 2 days in the hope that the battery is discharged, and a miracle will happen but nothing happens
Now I do not know what else to do ;D
toehser:
I had a clip that went black, my conclusion was that the screen hardware or connector had physically died.
I installed the Rockbox voice-command stuff, and gave it to my daughter as a backup - when she misplaces her player, this one is available.
It works with the voice-stuff - where it plays the menus over the headphones... the screen never came back though.

I think is another problem. I tried to update the original firmware - if the problem was only with the screen, then the problem would be solved - but the player is not defined as windows as Sansa player, is identified only as M200plus. also defined external memory (I tried a different cards)
ahuli:
hi friends.
maybe someone has at least some idea what anything I can do about that problem?
I do not want to carry back to the store this player. I really liked the Sansa clip+ and Rockbox..
toehser:
You've tried holding the power button down for 61 seconds (to make sure it is 'off' rather than 'dark') than holding the select button while plugging it (still off) into USB?
