Help! Theme with white background and white text!

I just installed the NanoClone theme off the wiki. Unfortunately it sets a white background with white text. I can now not see any menu text. I have tried changing the text attributes of the theme and even replacing the white backdrop with a blue one to try to see the text. The trouble is that Rockbox is not seem to re-read the config on reset! I even tried deleteing the theme with no effect. I'm totally stuffed!
Is there a non menu way to force Rockbox to re-read its config?

Turn on the iPod and before it finished booting, set hold to on.

Thanks! I tried a more brutal way - I loaded an old Rockbox from May. This wiped the config. Then selected another theme and loaded new rockbox again.

Helps me get by some crazy error loop my nano goes into sometimes [when I have auto-resume enabled].
