trouble installing on 5g ipod

hi new to the forums, sorry to start off with a noob question////
tried installing rockbox using the installation guide,. dloaded the files, found the drive number etc...
did this step: ipodpatcher -r N bootpartition.bin
after which the prompt showed c:\rockbox?>.. i typed: ipod_fw -o apple_os.bin -e 0 bootpartition.bin....but it showed that ipod_fw wasnt an external or internal command or operable program
sorry if this is extremely noob but can you help me....eager to get rockbox on my ipod....., i havent installed ipodlinux so i skipped that step....
are you supposed to type that last step at the c:\rockbox> prompt or at some other prompt....
any help would be appreciated

Did you download ipod_fw.exe from the installation instructions page?
