[SOLVED] upgraded iPod Classic 80g unresponsive during playback
(1/1)
freddo63:
Hi, I've used Rockbox for a long time (since it was released for the classic) on my classic 80gb, until I noticed the hdd seemed to be going out. Then I upgraded to a 160gb drive and fat battery+cover. Now I've updated emCore and Rockbox, and everything seemed fine until... I loaded a bit of music on there and noticed that the music plays, but during playback the iPod is completely unresponsive. I can't pause, skip, rewind or even exit the playback screen, unless I hold menu+select to reset the device, upon which it operates normally, that is, until I play something again. Could it be the files I've put on there or is this a known bug? What other helpful information can I provide?
saratoga:
I think this was fixed earlier today, try the current build.
freddo63:
are you referring to the build I find at this link http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/IpodClassicPort I downloaded this only a couple of hours ago and installed it.
EDIT: I just reinstalled it, very simple to do and all my settings seem to stay the same. The problem seems to have been resolved thanks! I didn't realize the builds were updated so often!
saratoga:
Yeah they're rebuilt on every code change.
