How do I replace a current playlist with another?

I have a Sansa e280R and Im running the latest Rockbox. I usually only shuffle entire folder directories. So how do I completely replace the current playlist with another instead of inserting or queueing it.

Also is there a way to select a folder and play the entire folder without having to enter the folder and selecting a track? That way I can easyily play an entire folder of one artist and all of their sub folders

Huh?  For me, if it is paused, it defaults to adding into the existing list, but if it is stopped, it defaults to creating a new dynamic list, I think.  Also, if I long-press select on a folder, it offers to recursively add it, I don't have to go into it and pick the first file.  You might want to review the possible keystrokes for the device in the manual, a number of things have different behavior for "long-press".
