iPod 7 with 128gig flash...Emcore not installing

I had Rockbox installed on my ipod Classic 7 but since I had flash installed I can't get Emcore to successfully format.

When I run UMSboot, I get both a "UMSboot has launched!" message & a separate message, "DeviceIOControl: Error 31: A device attached to the system is not functioning."

After using the bootstrap, dropping in the installer ubi, & ejecting, the Emcore installer gives me the the "formatting" screen for a minute or so & then goes into the panic screen saying "error formatting hard drive".

I'm not sure if it's an issue with the new flash or something else. Any ideas? Thanks.
