Clipping on WPS screen

Hello,

I'm new to Rockbox. I've been reading and searching a lot but i cannot find an answer to this. Why does my ipod start clipping ( sound cuts off ) only when in the WPS mode? Is there a solution? Thanks in advance.

Technically what it's doing isn't clipping. But this has been discussed (pretty widely, it's even in the FAQ, so you probably should check there next time).

Anyway, right now the software still needs some optimizations. The simplest solution is to pick a WPS that does not have peakmeters on it (or create one that doesn't).
