Archos Jukebox 6000 without batteries

Hello,
i will use my jukebox without batteries,
i want to use only the power supply.
The only problem is that the jukebox wont boot without batteries.
is it  possible to use the jukebox without batteries?

You'd need to make some interesting HW mod. All the Archos players are driven by batteries and the mains adapter is used to charge the batteries.

Yes, you can do that by using a stabilized 5 V supply (1 A). You will have to solder + and - wires to the appropriate battery spring connections (don't mix up + and - !!).

But this works fine. I have once used it for an installation in a car.
