I need help on installing the bootloader

Ok I know this is going to seem really n00bish but I'm wondering how will I know when the CMD found my ipodpatcher

I'm probibally not explaining this well at all but I'm talking about what will pop up on the screen when I hit the right number when I'm typing ipodpatcher N

when it doesn't say it can't detect your ipod, and there are a bunch of numbers.

dont worry about it just use the intaller from the ipodwizard forum, does most of it for you

IF i was you i would do it the long way, because then at least you know where a mistake was made.
anyway , to know if iPod patcher has found ur ipod it will say a bunch of stuff
and somewhere in the information will be two size values
e.g 72MB
      193139 MB
Or something like that, (what i just wrote was an example, it varies on different ipods) these values would denote ur partition table, thus if it shows it then it means its found ur ipod
