(1/1)
Viper73:
Hello,
i have an Sansa Clip+ and installed the firmware 3.13 of Rockbox. Before i hab a pretty old version, so much has chenged for me. Now i am a little confused with the "repeat" options.
how can i repeat only all files in the current directory (not working with playlists) ?

What I do is, go to the directory in the file-browser, then a long-select gives me the option to "Current Playlist" and "Insert". Then, if "repeat" is on, it will repeat that...
One way you're confused is saying "not working with playlists" - Rockbox *ALWAYS* is playing a playlist. When you play a song - you're creating a one song playlist. When you do a long-select on a directory to play that directory - you're creating a playlist from that directory. No exceptions - there is ALWAYS a playlist that you're playing. Even if you don't save it or name it. So, your real question is 2 parts: (a), how do you make a playlist from the current directory, and (b), how do you make that playlist repeat.
Viper73:
I wrote "without playlists" because i read somewhere that rockbox is working with playlists... so i wondered because i never used this feature playlists...
Where can i see which files are in the "current playlist" ? I did "insert to current playlist", but want know which files are in this playlist now. When i go to Playlists in the main menu there are no playlists saved. So where is the "standard playlist" so i can see which files are in it and where i can clear this list and so on ?
toehser:
If you hold down select from the while playing screen, you'll get a menu that starts with "playlist", which contains "view current playlist".
