stuck at install step D

(1/1)

" d) Extract the Apple firmware from your firmware partition image. [Back to all users again]

Type the following command to extract Apple's firmware from the bootpartition.bin image file:

ipod_fw -o apple_os.bin -e 0 bootpartition.bin

This should create a file approximately 5MB in size called apple_os.bin containing the Apple firmware for your iPod. "

when i type the command above it says "'ipod_fw' is not a recognized command".  if i try the command with "ipodpatcher" in the beginning, it says "unkown option -o"

HELP?

Llorean:
It's definitely ipod_fw.

Did you download ipod_fw.exe and put it in that directory?

meepzork:

From Linux, you need to type

./ipod_fw -o apple_os.bin -e 0 bootpartition.bin

to run ipod_fw
