What exactly is the problem you're having? Is it giving an error message when you're running one of the commands?

You did download the programs, and have used "cd" to change directories to where you put them, right?

cd is a command at the command prompt to change directories.

Seriously though, if you don't know basic command prompt navigation, you may want to google a little bit about it, I'm sure there's a basic tutorial on it out there somewhere.

Well, Rockbox is intended primarily for people somewhat technically adept so far. It's not polished enough for end users, and there's no official installer yet. When you use it there _will_ be bugs. Most aren't major, and once you get it set up right, it's perfectly usable, but some degree of proficiency is expected on the end of the user, because really it's for developers and people who are willing to serve as testers, for the most part.

The instructions posted are basically a walk through of the whole think. The only assumption they make is that you know the basics of how to use the command prompt. As I suggested, try reading up on that somewhere.
