Recently, I've been using my ipod video with rockbox to do a lot of typing. Notes when I don't have pen or paper with me, editing a novel I'm working on when I don't have access to a computer, jotting down a paragraph at night when I don't want to completely wake myself up by staring at the blue light from my monitor, and things like that. However, this also means that I occasionally lose things to the ether. For example, I've lost some work by not holding down menu for long enough when switching from morse code to virtual keyboard input and by holding the select button for too long when selecting a line to edit.

Would it be possible to add an "undo cancel" operation, and a "restore deleted line" operation? Even just a history of one would be sufficient to greatly help.
