Panic Screen on Bootup with a 32GB Microsd - Clip Zip

Hello. I can't get my 32GB Microsd card to work on a 4GB Clip Zip; Model# SDMX22-004G-A57K

When the card is inserted I get a Panic screen and Rockbox crashes (Please see picture).

The same 32GB card works fine on my Rockboxed Sansa e200 though. I've tried formatting the card with an allocation size of 64k but the card still makes the Clip puke every time on bootup.

I've tried an 8GB card on the Clip and that works fine so I'm stumped. I'm assuming the clip doesn't support large cards, the card is defective or I got a defective unit. Any advice how to resolve the issue would be appreciated; thank you.
