« on: December 01, 2013, 06:00:30 PM »
I'm currently searching for a better rockboxable device I'm currently using a sansa clip+ and by how much I do love it I need a new one. Does anyone know a good device that is rockboxable and has color for around 20-45 dollars
thanks theuserofallusers

I like the Sansa Clip Zip as a replacement for the Clip+, because it has more durable switches and buttons.

Some people also like the screen better, I don't care too much about that, but I've had a couple of Clip+ players fail with broken power buttons.

Hard to beat it...

I used the clip+ for over 3 years, one failed and I lost the other one.  I decided to go for the clip zip as the replacement, with some trepidation.  I'm 100% happy with the zip, I think it's equal to or better than the + in every way.  Bigger screen is nice, though the resolution is poor.  It's great having all my devices using micro-usb now.  Having just one with mini-usb was a real pain ("where's that &$#%@ cable?!!!!").
