i have a problem with this program & SanDisk clip+ & Micro SD Card & Playlist

sometimes when i am playing the clip+ i am using this firmware & the clip+ & an Micro SD Card it go into a panic mode & shut everything down what would cause this to happen & it always happens in a playlist also

A panic means that the driver or some other firmware component encountered a serious error and stopped in order to avoid data corruption.  If you're getting that on an SD card, its probably either a bug in our SD card driver or a hardware problem with the SD card.

ok well the SD Card i have is a class 10 & i did not find out to after i had bought it that the player only uses class 2 or class 4 so do you think the card is the problem

If it is the sdcard, it certainly won't be because of the class rating.

Data that resides on the sdcard is much more likely to cause an issue. But the original post isn't clear at all as to under what circumstances this error occurs so no one can really say anything meaningful at present except for stating that the sdcard class isn't an issue.

well i am not really clear why the error happens & when it happens i am at work & have no way to write down what it says at the time it happens & it does happen a bunch of times do i need to try to format the card again & see if it happens after i do that

I guess check that its not something stupid like a corrupt file system. 

Other than that I dont' think you can do anything besides not use that sd card.

well i checked the check disc on both the Player & the SD card on a pc that has Windows 8.1 & it found no errors so what should i try next & also i have no problems putting music on the player or the card & for some reason it be playing music just fine then goes into a panic shut down & gives a message but when it happens i am at work & does not have tine to write the message down

The panic will stay on-screen indefinitely until you either reboot the device or the battery depletes, this should allow you plenty of time to find a pen and paper. As long as its clear, even a picture of the screen will suffice.

The problem is that without the panic address and the exact version number of the Rockbox binary you're using simply knowing that the device panics in certain situations is largely useless.
