Access sansa clip+ via usb

 I just got my brandnew beamer with idrive and usb-connection. Now i just can't figure it out how to connect my clip+ porperly via usb. When it's connected battery is loading but that's it. So I wonder what's wrong. The device does not appear to be connected to the system. USB stick works fine in my car. Connecting clip via aux in also works. But clip+ and usb??

I made it. Finally it works. But no Rockbox.

It's not clear to me what works and what doesn't here...

After updating the bmw software i was able to connect successfully my clip+ with usb. But works only with sansa FW not with Rockbox.

I also have this player and it's harder sometimes to put new mp3 songs, solution I normally remove the micro SD, put in an adapter and install directly
