Returning to the first file after the end of the playlist

I rockboxed my sansa and a feature that was before is that when I e.g fell asleep with music when i turned it on i think it returned to original start of folder, now it says me "nothing to resume"
It will help me to know what i finished listening...
Hope it was understandable.
This issue was on my mind for some time so I decided to post it though it's not very crucial- Think you did a great job.

Another thing that could be helpful (if I post these messages in the right place) is - in the original sansa firmware there was an option "play all" for a folder containing subfolders and it queued them in the correct order, I read something about party mode in RB but if I ain't wrong it's one song per time.

All these don't bother me too much but are some ideas that could be processed sometimes maybe....

In a second glance i tried to figure out if i can find somewhere a solution to my first post and the dynamic playlist wanted to be erased every time i tried to play a song.
Anyway maybe the ideas sometime will help me and others if they are implemented. (Though as I mentioned not once I am pretty satisfied meanwhile with the interface RB provides)

If the current playlist finishes, then there will be nothing to resume when you attempt to restart playback. As you have discovered.

One way to avoid this would be to make sure that the current playlist never actually ends, by using one of the Repeat options. Repeat: All or Repeat: Shuffle for instance. You may also want to combine this with a sleep timer, so that the player automatically stops playback and shuts down after a user-specified period of time.

This way, unless you blow away the dynamic playlist manually, you should always have something to resume when you attempt to. It is possible to disable that annoying warning about erasing the dynamic playlist if you find it annoying (a lot of people do) as well, consult your players manual (the fifth link down on your left, for your convenience) for descriptions of the settings described here and many more.

Thanks for your thorough attention, this is really what i do sometimes with the repeat and timer (set to 3 hours its another plus in RB).
I will consult the manual about the dynamic playlist a little later.

I would like to RETHREAD a new topic that's took me the last day and a half - particulary installing RB on IPOD classic 160gb 7th gen,
I was dragged to trying emcoring the port through emulated linux which didnt went very well, it finished all that I installed ubuntu and it almost took over my whole laptop.
So i Want to express a plea that the process of RBoxing IPOD Classic will be more easy (more quickly) and meanwhile I would be happy to some walkthroughs...

p.s. frankly till now I didn't RBox It.

(Bought it from the considerations of space but didn't get used to Itunes)
Hope This rethread will get some attention too - just didn't want to open a new topic.
